The Harrisville Train Depot Committee is a gathering of community volunteers committed and passionate about understanding the efforts and activities needed to save, rehabilitate and preserve this historic Harrisville, Michigan Train Depot.  Through the years many dedicated and hard working volunteers have put their time, effort and heart into saving this building.  Today, for a variety of reasons, the station is now considered a "forgotten piece of history". However, there is still a chance, together with interested community members, the Alcona Historical Society and the entire community, this historic treasure can be saved.
